SPRING TERM MEETINGS
Our kick-off meeting will be held Tueday April 5th from 4:15pm - 5:15pm in SBA room 170. AGENDA: *Who we are *Applications *Speakers *Elections for next year's officers this term *SHRM Conference *Golf Tournament *Conference in Ellensburg ___________________________________________________ PHRMA LUNCHEON Topic: Practical Tools for Working with and Successfully Recruiting Individuals with Disabilities When: Wednesday, April 20, 2011 Time: 10:30am - 1:00pm Where: DoubleTree Hotel, Lloyd Center, 1000 NE Multnomah Portland, OR 97232 This is a great way to become involved within PSU HRMA and also a good way to network. You have to be a member to volunteer. _________________________________________________________________ 2011 SHRM Conference This year the Annual SHRM Conference will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada. The conference is from June 26th-29th. The conference is an excellent opportunity to meet and network with other HR professionals from across the country. It is also a forum to share ideas and best practices as well as a place to learn and enhance your knowledge about HR practices. Two scholarships of $500.00 each will be awarded annually (dependent upon funding) to the students demonstrating a desire to pursue a career in the Compensation and Benefits profession.
